Bonn, Germany (2018)
workshop with children and adults at the Haus Vielinbusch in cooperation with biologist Dr. Inge Steinmetz and artist Anna Thinius
In this series of workshops, a harmonious convergence of nature and art unfolded. In the neighborhood of Bonn-Tannenbusch, biologist Dr. Inge Steinmetz, artist Anna Thinius, and I collaborated to orchestrate a diverse and creatively engaging dialogue with the local residents. The initiative commenced with a collective exploration of the surroundings, fostering contemplation and interaction with the outdoor space. Subsequently, the gathered impressions were meticulously captured and expressed through an artistic process.
I actively accompanied the community in both the nature walks and the art workshops, focusing on the themes of Greenery and Air. These sessions provided an opportunity for participants to delve into the intrinsic connection between the environment and artistic expression, fostering a unique and enriching experience for all involved. The interplay between nature and artistic creation not only celebrated the beauty of the surroundings but also encouraged a deeper understanding of the symbiotic relationship between humans and their environment.
